Abstract

Abstract: The article presents the factors and procedures for determining the revenue from the activities of merchant ships and their functions in the system for managing the efficiency of maritime transport. The following issues are considered: a general analysis of the factors determining the revenue from the activities of the ship, participating as controlling influences in the efficiency management system; working dependencies and procedures for determining the revenue from the activities of the ship; recommendations to ship operators for determining tariffs when concluding contracts for the carriage of goods. Specific results are obtained for the main types of ships.
