Abstract

Abstract: The article discusses the issue of applying modern software environments for automated design of pipeline systems, taking into account the specific features of the design of this type of engineering and technical objects. An overview of the CAD systems offered on the market is made, indicating their main functionalities. The main characteristics determining the choice of a software environment for design are derived. The development trends of automated design systems are indicated.
